1 What levels do you offer?
At our school you can learn Spanish at any level. Since we only offer one-to-one Spanish tuition, our lessons are personalized to perfetly suit your level and meet your own individual requirements.

2 Is there a minimum age?
No. However, 1) if you are 16-17 years old, parental permission is required, and 2) children younger than 16 must be accompanied by parents. There is no maximum age either. We have taught Spanish to people of all ages, from 4 to 78 years old! Or was it 82? ;-)

3 When can I start a course?
You can start whenever you like (as long as available). Since our school is specialized in private tuition, you don't have to wait for a specific date or course.

4 Can I change my course options once I have started?
Yes, of course. You can always request more lessons or activities (on payment of the corresponding rates if applicable). It is also possible to take less lessons or activities. However the difference in price is not refunded.

5 I'm an absolute beginner. Are my lessons only taught in Spanish?
We always speek Spanish from the very first lesson, also for absolute beginners, because we belief that you can only learn a language if you communicate with that language. BUT our teachers also speak English, Dutch, and French and they can always switch to one of these languages if necessary (for exemple, when explaining grammar).

6 Do I get a certificate at the end of the course?
You get a certificate of attendance, which is included in the course price. This certificate describes the level, number of hours and additional activities. 

7 Why should I learn Spanish with you?
Our lessons are completely personalized to meet your needs. We offer you flexibility and personal attention is guaranteed.
Our teachers have a university degree in Spanish and many years of experience --they have taught Spanish to more than 5000 students, including at the University of Amsterdam-- and are passionate about their job and their culture. 
We understand language as communication, so our lessons go beyond the walls of the classroom. We provide you with high quality learning activities in relevant situations, which helps you increase confidence and fluency.
Our accommmodation options have been carefully selected.
And... our prices are really competitive.

8 How do I enroll?
Contact us using our contact form, live chat or Skype. We will need the following details:

- how many people
- start and finish date
- how many hours in total
- outdoor/leisure activities
- accommodation option

9 When can I enroll?
We accept last minute enrollments (48 hours before the start of the course) as long as there is availability. 

10 Do I have to pay a deposit in advance to book a course?
Yes, we ask for a deposit (20% of total price) which is substracted from the total amount of the course. On receipt of the deposite, we will reserve your course and send you an email with further information. If we don't receive the deposit within 10 days from your booking, we reserve the right to cancel your course.

11 How do I make the payments?
You can transfer the amount to the following bank account:

The rest of the payment is due at least 21 days before arrival. If you don't make the payment on time, we cannot guarantee that you can start your course on the date of your choice.

12 Are there any additional charges if I cancel the course?
The deposit is never refunded. However, it will remain valid for another course in the future (maximum one year from the cancellation date).
For cancellations between 21 and 7 days before the start of the course, you get a 50% refund of the course price.
For cancellations less than 7 days before the start of the course, you get a 25% refund of the course price.
For cancellations on the start date or once the course has started, no refunds can be made. 
Students who do start a course but don't finish it don't get a refund either.

13 How do I get to Guadix?
You can fly to Granada, Málaga or Almería. We can send you information about public transport options (bus/train) and car rentals. We also offer a transfer service from these three airports to Guadix.

14 How does the pick up service work and how much does it cost?
If you want to use this service, send as an email with the exact date and time of arrival and flight number, at least 5 days before the arrival date.
The costs are € 60.- (Granada), € 90.- (Almería) and € 130.- (Málaga).
If you need us to pick you up in Guadix, this service is free of charge.

15 Can I book accommodation without booking a course?
Yes, we also offer accommodation for people who don't take a course with us.

16 Can I book a course without booking accommmodation?
Yes, sure. We offer you three options with special prices for our students. But you can arrange your accommodation on your own.

17 Do I have to share my room / bathroom?
No, we only offer you accommodation with privacy. In both Hotel Abentofail and Hotel Abuelo Ventura you have your own room with bathroom. When you book the cave, you book the whole accommodation. 

18 Are towels, sheets and blankets available at Cave DestiSur?
Yes, of course. As well as kitchen utensils, cutlery and crockery. And dishwasher, coffe machine, toaster...

19 Can I receive visitors at Cave DestiSur?
Yes, but please let us know in advance. If they stay overnight, the regular fees are asked.

20 What can't I forget?
We are in Spain, so take your sunglasses (and sunscreen)!
Bring pen and paper.
A notebook would be fine.
As for the rest, all those things you always forget to pack but shouldn't.
